Connecting, naturally

There is so much wonder in the world, yet we focus our rat race lives on a survival level.  The satisfaction of a cleared inbox and the euphoria after buying that “must have” item are temporary joys.

Remember that nature provides abundantly.  Connecting with nature in even the smallest ways restores balance.  Obviously the great outdoors is the ideal option, but even tending your indoor plants for half an hour a day can get you in touch with nature.  It’s surprising how relaxing stroking a cat, or watching a bird peck at food food, can be.  There’s no space for stress when balance is restored.  Would you rather make space for stress?

Don’t wait until life has passed you by and you sit at the end of nowhere …  Step forward with action.

Switch on the light bulb above your head

Some things change – and – you can change some things.  When you understand that nothing is forever you realise what your brain is for:  to learn, learn more, learn again – and never think you know it all, because you simply never will.  Changing even a small habit can create a knock-on effect that can slowly change your life for the better.  No action = no result.

Curiosity leads to learning.

Learning leads to experience.

Experience leads to wisdom.
