The universe in a blob

If a massive “someone” had to look at a human being through an advanced microscopic x-ray machine (similar to how we would view a bacterium too small to see with the naked eye), that someone would probably only see our bones with a red pulp around it.  This giant entity would have no idea that in and around the bones are veins and blood corpuscles, and they would certainly not know that inside those blood corpuscles are cells with nuclei.  They cannot see it – how can it be there?

They would marvel at how this human being can exist with bones and some red fluid!  They would believe that this creature is a simple creature because it uses such a little to survive.  They would believe this is a simple creature too small to think for itself.

When we, with our nano-technology and high magnification tools, see dots inside cells, how would we know how much more there is?  How would we know if that bacterium isn’t perhaps an entire universe?

Infinity is a scary thing.
