Initially, when I jump into something fairly quickly, an “anything is possible” attitude assists my actions, then analytic thoughts wander in.  When the “nasty but necessary what ifs” creep in, then I know I’m really involved in the task at hand.  Sometimes I am glad I’ve jumped in as soon as I have and sometimes I end up researching it even further and deciding otherwise.

Upon choosing a path the question that pops up seems to be:  Was that the right decision?

Perhaps there are “powers that be” influencing all, or perhaps you are the only one holding the reins.  Perhaps it’s a bit of both, perhaps the “powers that be” wait on your call before acting.  Whatever The truth may be for others, your truth should be obvious to you and you should remain faithful to yourself.  Because, in the long run, if my spouse dies or my house burns down – there’s only me left to take care of me.
